How to rent a tuxedo
- Decide on a tuxedo style. You can do so by browsing the websites of various tuxedo retailers. Usually, the better websites provide online tools that help you visualize and choose the tuxedo that you like.
- Choose the accessories that goes with the tuxedo. E.g. shoes, ties, vests, etc. Again, you can do so via the website. The pictures are usually of high quality.
- Choose a retailer near you. The website should have a feature that works like a store locator. Some retailers have their own websites and you may visit their websites to find out more information about the stores.
- Before you visit the store, give them a call to verify the physical stock of the items that you have chosen. It is also a good opportunity to see how responsive the store is to customer requests and a good way to assess customer service levels.
- When visiting the store, a small downpayment is usually required to book the items that you requested. Free free to talk to any of the consultants in the store to ask for advice. They are usually helpful and should provide valuable information to help you make a better decision.
- When placing the order, the date should have been confirmed.
- When picking up the tuxedo during the actual date itself, check the merchandise before leaving the store. Try it on if you have time.
- Before leaving the store, remember ask about the return time and date. In most cases, late fees apply if the tuxedo is returned late!
